Minnesota's Youth Advisory Council
MNYAC is composed of youth representing all regions of Minnesota promoting youth voice. Members provide advice and youth perspective for the work of the Alliance. Paired with adult mentors, MNYAC members truly represent the Alliance philosophy of working “with” youth rather than “for” youth. The Council plans policy initiatives and takes action to make a difference for youth in all of Minnesota’s communities.

Global Youth Service Day
The Serve a Smile mini grant program offers young people start up funds as they envision ways to create healthier schools and communities through youth service during Global Youth Service Day. Serve a Smile is based on the belief that when engaged, creative and resourceful youth volunteers are given the opportunity to work on public service initiatives with their family, school, friends, and neighbors, that they can help solve community problems.
