The 2016 Global Youth Service Day celebration was held on April 16th at Southdale Mall, and celebrated the impact that youth make across the globe through service and leadership! Families, youth, and the public were invited to “plug into service” through onsite service projects. Talented young people from across the state sang, danced and performed for the energetic crowd at the mall. Minnesota Alliance With Youth serves as a lead agency coordinating GYSD events in Minnesota, with sponsorship from Youth Service America, State Farm, and Delta Dental of Minnesota, and NobleHour/NobleCause.
