June 7, 2021- August 14, 2021 (35 hours/week)
As an AmeriCorps Emergency Response Member, you will help organizations respond to significant needs in their community related to COVID–19. Service could include a combination of several response tasks such as emergency food distribution, academic support and youth enrichment, rental and housing assistance, and more. 2021-22 AmeriCorps Promise Fellow
September 1, 2021- July 31, 2022 (20, 30 & 40 hours/week positions available)
AmeriCorps Promise Fellows serve as caring adults who support, mentor, and build positive relationships with young people in 6-12th grades on their path to high school graduation. Promise Fellows provide one-on-one and small group support to a group of students in a school or non-profit organization.

VISTA members build organizational capacity by strengthening and connecting existing resources and best practices to better serve youth, especially young people of color and young people living in poverty.

High School for Recording Arts: High School for Recording Arts has been working with opportunity youth for 20 years, engaging them by first asking, ‘what are you passionate about?’ It is from here, this exploration of interest and creativity, that we construct credit learning opportunities for our young people. Every day, Promise Fellows at High School for Recording Arts will have the opportunity to develop nurturing relationships with young people and help motivate them towards success through their creative pursuits.

United Way of 1000 Lakes/Greenway High School: Greenway HS is excited to have a full complement in the Student Services office this year including 2 counselors 5-12 and a full time social worker! Alongside the academic interventionist we are ramping up our student supports through our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) training this summer and it is crucial that we have the additional personnel to provide for intervention work with students.
