MAKE Black History Month

I am supporting the Earth Club at my school- this group of scholars have ambitiously taken on four initiatives rooted from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and as of late have exercised a Black History Month initiative that encompassed SDG#10 (Reduced Inequalities). The group collaborated on a proposal for the school to consider, involving a BHM display of a banner and smaller posters fostering a theme of "MAKE black history month" where today's social justice groups are highlighted among local black-owned businesses and our host site's diversity staff.
I was so energized by this group's goals and felt honored that I could be part of their collaboration by getting their content printed and posted in the school halls. I'll attach a picture! So much fun and I am continuously proud of how this group works together- far better than any adult group as of late!
