Proud of You

I was assigned a student whose attendance was not the greatest. She missed a lot of school which resulted in her having a lot of missing assignments, but as we started working together, she started to do her course work more.

One day we were working together, and I let her know that I was proud of her progress since we first started meeting, it was then that she opened up to me and told me that she never had anyone that cared or pushed her to do better until I stepped in and started helping her. She has been attending school a lot more as well as staying caught up with her work.
