A Day in the Life of AmeriCorps VISTA Samara

"Since August, I have served as a VISTA member serving with Minnesota Alliance With Youth and the Minnesota Youth Council. Even while working from home, each day looks different which is something that I have loved about my position. I always begin the day by looking over my to-do list and my calendar to see what meetings and projects I have for that day. In my VISTA position, I am lucky to work alongside the incredible staff at the Alliance as well as the amazing young people on the Minnesota Youth Council. While collaborating with my team of MYC staff, we identify and partner with many community organizations and State agencies, also supporting the young people on the Council in creating programming for their upcoming meetings and events."
